can an enlistee choose what country to be based in overseas? before enlisting of course. Thanks

yes you can choose your home station overseas, I would recommend having 2 choices so if 1 is not available you may have a shot at the 2nd!!!

not really, no. You can get, in writing, a guarentee of training, but that's about it. you can't really choose where to be stationed, because they won't know where there will be a need for your job specialty until just before you graduate.

You will be given a chance to pick your duty station preference. But, you don't always get to go where you want to go. I was lucky enought to get almost all of the duty stations I wanted to go to.

You get what's called a "dream sheet" where you can make note of where you'd like to do, but whether or not you get your pick all depends on availability and your MOS.

yes you can have it in your con track try and get Korea I spent 15 months there all i did was drink and go to work it was great times.

If its availible (Country) and ensure its on your enlistment contract.
