What long term effects does using Benadryl have on ones body...if any?

I have been using benadryl for my allergies as well as a great sleep aid. On average I have been taking at least 3-5 tablets for about 5 years every night. I have no symptoms that it's doing anything but aiding in my sleep as well as my allergies. Should I be concerned?
