instead of going through the streets of bagdahd with guns and ammo, i think they ought to roll through the streets with a baskets of puppies to pass out to all the people...everyone loves puppies...they bring such joy and love!

Just yesterday, I was having a Global Warming Strategizing Brunch with my good friend Jane Fonda, and we were chatting about the very same thing.
Jane fervently believes that Saddam was so mean because he didn't have a cute little puppy doggie to love. When she was in North Vietnam, she tried the same tactic; she brought a dozen puppies for the Viet Cong, but didn't realize that they would be eaten for dinner.
But now Jane is convinced that the "puppy love" technique will work. She plans to have the terrorists make a guest appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Just when the rag heads are shouting "Jihad, Jihad", and threatening to cut off Oprah's arm for baring her calves in public (which is an abomination to Allah), she will have her producer and cast bring out a dozen frisky little puppie doggies.
All of America will be in tears as the terrorists renounce Jihad, violence, and making women lived caged in stifling burkas.
Praise be Allah !

Why not go get Al Sadr and Al Maliki and every leader of every shithead province and tell them to quell the violence or it will be a bullet in their kids and families heads every day until it stops and then the will eventually be shot.
That is how to fight an insurgency.
The US is doing an Occupation though. It is for oil, and the troops have to prop up the puppets for whom the corporate ***** back in the states want to deal with eventually.
Is your life worth that?

Have You ever seen the way animals are treated in Arabic Countries? No. That is what I thought. Sorry but it was a nice idea, just totally unrealistic given the living conditions there.
