Well, you could always move out and get your own home.
Oh, wait... no you can't, you're just a kid ;-)
Moms are annoying because they want what is best for you. But.. when they tell you what you need to do, you roll your eyes, and sigh heavily, and stamp your little foot (which is wearing shoes she paid for, right?)
It makes Moms a little peevish, so they snap back.
It's called adolesence, and you will both get through it. Trust me -- she likes it even less than you do, and is far more likely to go mad first.

Oh dear! Not easy being a kid, is it?
Your mom is stressed & taking out her angst on you! That's not fair! But you can do a lot to make the situation easier for both of you.
Start by writing her a little note. Just say something like:
Mommy, I love you XXX
A week or 2 later, send her another one
(to melt her heart & make her realise you are precious to her!)
Then suggest you have a weekly meeting (a pow wow) so you & everyone else (if there are other people in your family involved), can sit & discuss what irritates & find solutions-
maybe establishing a short set of House Rules
EG:
Mom will not shout
I will not make a mess.
If that doesn't work, speak to a school counsellor, & ask for mediation (an advocate) (i.e. someone who will speak to your mom on your behalf). be clear about what grieves you & what changes you expect.
Just remember, STAY CALM! Good luck! & all the best!

well first take deep breaths and dont tell her stop telling me so many things. just get it done and go to your room and SCREAM a loud as you can to let out all the pressure. but do it with a pillow. she just wants to do the best for you.hey mabey you might makes some money kid by doing all those chores and get yourself something. She is probably tells you all that because look what she does for you. she gets you your clothes shoes and food. she makes the house clean for you because she doesnt want you to live in a dirty pit. she probably wants to give you a good life before you grow up. so you wont have anything like bad memories in life. like saying you had to live in a horrible place.so i guess you should probably live with it just let it all out to a sister or someone close to you. or scream into a pillow. thats what i do

I could say 'move house' ~ refuse to have contact with her,' and so on. But you provide no information about your age, so this advice may not be at all practical.
Try 'negotiations' with her (maybe she get driven nuts by your spelling and reacts to it - being 'Driven' nuts by someone who spells it 'Dryven' ~ amongst other things ~ like wot I does).
To calm yourself, walk away and try some deep. slow breathing exercises, and walk / run off excess energy.
Does she listen? Is she capable of this?
You will likely be in her shoes one day, where you expect some obedience and respect of what you say / ask of those younger because there will come a time when you will realise that you have earned it through all your efforts and hard work.
So, with that in mind, try to be the Adult (just a little), and propose to her that you want to try and negotiate things with her ~ like not asking you to do two things at once....
And then go on from there.
Give it a try. After that, if it doesn't work, then you can at least say that you tried.
Good luck.
Sash.

That what mum`s do. Fact of life.
In a calm moment discuss with her the fact you can only do one thing at a time, then watch the fireworks!! Because mums can do at least 5 things at a time.
I know I irritate my girls,I know they irritate me, but I know we love each other to bits. Just wish my mum was still here to drive me crazy.

have you ever heard the serenity prayer? it's popular with the AA crowd but it applies to a lot of situations and your post made me think of it...
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things we cannot change,
courage to change the things we can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Thy will, not mine, be done.
I'm not too religious but I find saying this silently to myself or outloud if I'm alone puts me in a calmer frame of mind. Maybe you could repeat that to yourself when your mom stresses you out. Also think about it...sounds like your mom has her own shortcomings but maybe you can think about learning to separate her baggage from your own baggage?

Chill!! Just chill! Take a breather! Mom can get on your nerves I no cuz I have one. When she nags at you again to do something TELL HER! Just say "hey, if you gonna COMMAND me like that at least give me enough time to do one thing at a time. I'm not a robot. I'm only human!!" Just don't say it with attitude cuz then you mite get a hand...if you no what I mean.

My mum used to drive me mad too....she'd be in the kitchen, I'd be in my bedroom & she'd call me all the way into the kitchen to put something in the dustbin that was right next to her.gggrrrrrrrrrr always drove me crazy that did.....I've been left home a lifetime now but whenever I make reference to what she used to do she still justifies it.....it'll pass honey....everything always passes....
