That question was settled 2000 years ago. The central lynchpin of Christianity is the resurrection of Jesus. Without it, as Paul wrote, our faith is meaningless. Had the enemies of Christianity been able to get hold of the dead body of Jesus, they would have paraded it arounf town on a cart for all to see. They could not because the body was gone.
Not one contemporary critic of Jesus refutes the resurrection. They all knew it happened. There were eyewitness acounts of some 500 people that saw him alive and well AFTER his death. The eyewitnesses could have been impeached by the critics if they had been lying, but they were not. Why? Because they were not lying.
Archeology, history, the documents of the early Church fathers, all point to the Church of the Holy Seplecure being the site of Jesus tomb. The emty tomb.

There are 98 or 99 guys named Yeshua or Jesus as we say who have been discoved in the area whose burials date from around that time, and nobody can say if one of them could be Jesus of Nazareth or not. And nobody knows now just where his tomb was, exactly. The only witnesses who did know lived 2000 years ago, and they said he disappeared from the tomb. They went to their deaths swearing that that is what happened.

Dang! I hate it when they forget to put something that important in, don't you? Everyone is saying the whole show was really dumb but I didn't get to see it. What I'm wondering is how many families had a Jesus and his mother Mary. I can probably find about a million in the Hispanic population in the USA today. They pronounce it a bit different but it is a very popular name now and I have an idea it might have been then. Inquiring minds want to know.

The bones are nowhere to be found because Jesus rose again from the dead. The Bible says that He died on the cross, was buried, and rose again on the third day. I am a Christian and I don't believe that those are Jeusus' bones. Read this article if you dare.

~ maria m.... Excellent question!
You see, Maria M... God (The Father of Jesus) took His Son (Jesus Christ) to His side. His body was taken up...
just as will happen at the time of the Rapture...
The bodies of those written in the Lambs Book of Life:
[Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in
white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book
of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and
before his angels.]
[Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book
of life was cast into the lake of fire.]
(1) deceased will be taken up to the Lord, and
(2) the bodies of those now living (who won't have to suffer actual death) will be taken up to the Lord, so that we will have a time to feast with the Lord for seven years. When that hapens, the bodies of the current living that were raptured up will just leave behind everything that was not of God... clothing, jewelry, accessories, false teeth... etc.
These scriptures should help enlighten you.
~ Jhn 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.
~ Jhn 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God.
~ Eph 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Why? If God wants them to be discovered He will make sure that they are well identified. Non-believers think they are so wise when they are actually nothing more than puppets
