I really like the ones at the salon but they cost up to a hundred dollars and more. I would really like one that works just at well but is at least under fifty dollars. Which ones would u suggest?

here is what i have found over the years of straighteners...

- get one that is made completely out of ceramic
- a good one will cost approximatley 50 dollars or more
- never buy conair...all three of the ones that i have didn't last very long

I have a Conair Wet/Dry straightener that I love. I can't remember the model right now, but it is a ceramic (like the ones in the salon) and it is black and red. They sell all different sizes. I bought mine at Kmart I belive for under 30 dollars. The one that I have has a "curved blade" so that it gives your hair a little body while smoothing it and making it shiny. They have the normal flat ones too!

the best one to get is by conair: Wet2Straight....seriously, if you have like the waviest hair, it'll straighten it within about 10 minutes. Plus, it only takes about 2 minutes to warm up. I really recommend that one...I use it almost everyday, and I have naturally wavy hair, and no one can ever tell that I have wavy hair.
