just got a g/f about a week ago,and every time she stays over at my house,my cat pees on her side of bed,why?

The cat her name is Cat pretty original huh? anyways she has never had this kind of behavior but every time my new girlfriend of only about 2 weeks comes over, Cat decides she wants to piss on the side of the bed that my girlfriend sleeps on. this is my first girlfriend in about 4 months. why does Cat do this and what can i do to prevent Cat from pissing on my bed it pisses me the hell off. damn kitty.

I think Cat is jealous of the attention you give the "intruder" into her home. Before the girlfriend, Cat had you and the home to herself. Don't be angry with Cat, she doesn't understand and she is just showing her confusion and displeasure.

You might try giving Cat more attention, especially when the new girlfriend is around. Try to encourage the girlfriend pay some attention to Cat as well - maybe have her give Cat some treats. I would also keep Cat out of the bedroom.

One of my cats did not like it at all when my husband moved into my house. She became a sprayer! It took a while and lots of little "favors" such as turning on the water for her to drink out of the kitchen sink whenever she wanted it, but now she adores my husband and follows him all around the house.
