Any principle of love, fairness, nurturant behavior, compassion, healing, respect for the created world either Nature or human, an antipathy for evil and exploitation...the list grows! The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) maintains that "those beliefs that unite us are greater than those which divide". I believe this, and that we should try to stay centered in those areas of agreement.

I agree with the concept of karma. What you dish out to others will come back to you. If you breed contempt, then contempt will come back to you some day. If you breed hatred, then hatred will be shown to you. If you hurt others, then you will be hurt in return. I don't know what religions practice the karma belief, but this concept is universal to many religious beliefs, including my own, Christianity.

that we believe there is a God call Him Buddha, Mohammad, etc the fact remains that we have instilled within us a sense of a power greater than ourselves. Whom we can either thank or curse for our afflictions and joyfulness. I believe without that knowledge we would not be able to have an existence because we would have nothing to question.

God works in most all of them. although, they all are off somewhat, so it don't matter what Church I go to. They are all God's people, I give my perspective and I learn from them all. This is the answer God gave to me, in a chapel, and not to join any at this time.
