How can I politely tell someone I've been dating that they hurt my feelings and confuse me, nicely? I've been ignoring him almost all day because I dont know how to tell him without it not turning into a problem

Begin with the truth. No matter the outcome with the other person, you do no favors to either of you by lying or hiding the truth.

Try this: "John/Jane, we have been dating for a while now and maybe we have become a little too comfortable in our relationship. Recently, something happened between us that has left me hurt and confused."

Then tell your person what you feel based on that action that occured.

By the way, ignoring someone because you are angry with them is childish. If you have a problem, you need to deal with it or it simply gets worse!

The best thing to do is to just sit him down and tell him how you feel. It might seem awkward and embarassing, but it'll be better for both of you if you're honest. And don't worry about hurting his feelings; if he's reasonable he should be willing to listen to what you have to say. Hope this helps!

thats a hard one yet your right you do need to let him know, well you can only be honest and tell him, not to take it personaly cos your a sensative lady,I mean how else is he gonna know if you dont tell him, hes not a mind reader, if he cant take it well how can he be the right one for you, ist hard i know, but sharing is about caring aswell and we all have feelings that need to be taken into consideration, so tell the him the truth. good luck xxx
