Jewish scholars declare that Matthew is in error, that the word almah means young woman (just as the male equivalent elem means young man). It does not denote a virgin or sexual purity but age. Because a different Hebrew word, bethulah ("בתולה"), is most commonly used for virgin even in modern Hebrew, the prophet could not have meant virgin in Isaiah 7:14.

The Old Testament talks about almah 'young woman,' not bethulah 'virgin.' However, the scholars in the 3rd century BC translated the Hebrew almah as parthenos in Greek. Thus the 'young woman' in Hebrew metamorphosed into a 'virgin' in Greek—and she has remained a virgin ever since in translations across the world. The notion of 'virgin birth' was born, thanks to a mistranslation.

If you are a Christian, you are misinformed. And,
it really doesn't matter what you "think". All that
matters for a Christian, is in the answer book, the
Holy Bible. This matter states Mary was impregnated
by the Holy Spirit in the Bible as Jesus was the son
of God. It clearly states Mary and Joseph had not
known each other (had sex) yet when she became
pregnant but both got an explanation from on high
and then believed this "miracle" from God.

Then I don't think you can be a true Christian. The birth of Jesus by a virgin was the immaculate conception. Part of believing in Jesus has to do with believing in His miraculous birth.

The Bible says Mary was found to be pregnant by the Holy Ghost. Which means God made her be pregnant without having relations with a man. I don't see how you can say you believe in what Jesus did for you, but not believe in how He was born..

Sorry to break this to you, but you're not a Christian. The basis of Christianity is the Trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Son is God, and if he was born of some random couple in Bethlehem 2000 years ago, he definitely wouldn't be God. If you don't believe Jesus is God, then you're not a Christian.

Then you are denying one of the basic tenants of the Christian faith. Why don't you believe that the Holy Spirit caused Mary to become pregnant? Do you think that the God who created the universe and all of the plants, animals, and people on the earth couldn't cause a virgin to become pregnant?

Then am afraid you are denying a core doctrine of Christianity. Mary had an immaculate conception, made clear in the Scriptures. If you are going to hold that position, then you will need to defend it wit hScripture. What in the Bible makes you trhink Jesus had an earthly biological father?

Now I will say that she did not STAY a virgin as most Catholics believe and I can provide Scriptural evidence to support that.

In order for our sins to be paid for there had to be a "perfect sacrifice". That was God in the flesh - Jesus.

Many men of God and prophets had been killed by men before but they were just like us, imperfect. If there death could have paid the penalty Jesus would not have had to come down.

One of the first testimonies of the early Christians was "Jesus is Lord". The word for Lord is the same one used in the Old Testament for the highest name of God "YHWH".

Then you are not of TheTrue Christian Faith... No one can just decide they are Christian... only God decides who is and who is not... and one who denies the basic facts of The Faith will not be accepted.... no one is "born" a chritian... no one is a christian just because some one "baptized" them as an infant... not act or ritual can mak any one a Christian... no man, priest, or pastor can decree any one a Christian.....

ONLY those who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and become part of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head... only those are of The True Christian Faith. And only those of The Church will enter Heaven

Why do you think that? How can you claim that Jesus was God without him being born of the Spirit? What about the prophecies that said the messiah would be born of a virgin?
