NO, they are not meat. They are eggs, an entity unto themselves.

They're dairy becasue they are located in the diary dept. of most grocery stores, along w/ milk, cheese, butter, and other farm-produced items.

Eggs have similar nutritional value to meat however, and can be subbed for meat in diets where one wants to reduce animal meat and animal fat consumption.

no they are not meat but back in the day you bought them at farm so it would be consided a dairy product.

they are not exctly dairy or protein, it's just in the dairy section in stores because it's from an animal

No, they are protien. If you are talking about the chicken concept, they get the eggs right when they are hatched, which does not have the chicken in it until a month!
