For congestion, blocked sinuses, I found an excellent herbal tea a couple of years ago when I was battling a nasty sinus infection (chronic sinusitus used to re-occur about twice a year for several years). The company name is Traditional Medicinals. They have several different herbal teas for a variety of ailments. I found their "Breath Easy" tea to be far more effective than any over the counter meds. Drinking as little as 2 hot cups back to back, prepared by the directions will have you breathing fine in no time. Whenever I feel a head cold coming on, I make a cup of this stuff. And I have not had a sinus infection in over 3 years now.
Check your local grocery store. If it's not in the tea and coffee isle, look for it in the organic foods section. If you can't find the Breath Easy, look for Gypsy Cold Cure - haven't tried this one yet, it's by the same company and should treat similar symptoms.

You can try multiple things. Sleep is a very important factor, if you get about eight hours of sleep normally try to get a little more. Drink plenty of fluids and liquids and take some nose spray that is over the counter which will help you with congestion. You can also try DayQuil and NyQuil which help greatly from experience. Good luck! Hope this helps!
