Make the first move! Just remember the worst that he can do is say no. Sounds like you two have a lot in common. I might start out very slow, maybe see if you two can spend sometime outside of church together with no friends. Can you two go to the movies or mall maybe even watch a movie at someone's house? This would give the chance for the two of you to talk by yourselves without the influence of friends. Good Luck!

you should make the first move if he hasnt already. i was in a situation like that and it took the guy months to make a move. i know i sound stupid for waiting that long but it all turned out for the best. but if i could go back i would have just made the move. waiting is horrible. if you hear that hes interested then just do it. youll feel better.

I definately encourage women to ask men out. Its already so hard to make relationships work without waiting for the other person to ask. If he has flirted for a while and its clear to everyone that he likes you I say, show him you are mature enough to ask him out.

make the first move. if you wait, he might find someone else or start thinking you don't like him like that. i know it's hard, it's hard for everyone to get up the courage to do that sort of thing. i got over it and did it. if i can do it, you can do it! i promise! you will feel amazing after you do it. you never know, he might say yes. the worst he can do is say no anyway.

so leave it alone and act your age, not to say your not but there is a lot more out there than some boy looking at you in church and at the basketball game....... and if your gonna take to him anyway then let him step up to the plate and be the man and ask you out...it builds character.
