NO, of course not. I play poker for a living, live and online of course. And I'm a married man. Poker take a lot from me, but the good thing is, you're you own boss. Most of the time I'm able to schedule my poker hours so, that doesn't hurt my life to much. I have the support of my wife 100% she is my mate!

My friends and I play a lot in real life, but whenever some people dont feel like playing.. my friend Brian and I play online.
I like it better this way cause Im taking money from people I don't know.
Also, you can choose the stakes..
So no, it doesnt mean you have no mates.. Just that
you like to play more than they do.. and you're tired
of taking all their money.

Personally I do not gamble on line because I have heard allot of bad things about some people winning and never getting their winings.
Other times its' a scandal whereas the ley you win a few times and get your hopes up like its' going to be easy money and then hit you for everthing you got.
Gamble Responsible which means dont gamble at all.

you could make the same comment about any activity. poker is no different from browsing websites, playing games, reading a book in that it takes time away from other activities.
having said that, i have no real mates so don't know.

I have just two friends who like playing poker and I don't like playing in a small gruop. Besides, I am practicing here on Yahoo! games where nobody knows me. Plus, I play at about 2am when all of my friends are at their homes (except on weekends).

I play both at brick and mortar casinos and i play on line as well. Playing on line is just easy because you don't have to drive to the casino, you can just sit around in your under-ware and be comfortable in your own home.
