odor eater insoles. Make sure you don't have a fungal condition on your feet, wear clean socks and after washing your feet everyday dust them with an absorbent powder before putting on your shoes. If your shoes(athletic) are older than two years you might consider buying a new pair- the foam rubber does hold sweat and can cause a chemical reaction resulting in smelly shoes.

You may not like this answer, but alot of stinky shoe conditions are not associated with bad feet or hygiene, but poorly made footwear that lacks an ability to process the natural sweat that is created witin the shoe. The shoes should breathe, natural leather does, alot of the man made materials do not. And to complicate the issue, bad shoes will cause bad feet! Get rid of the shoes that stink and try a different manufacturer. Never wear the same pair 2 days in a row, and given any opportunity, go barefoot, its great for your feet!

Keep you feet clean, clean sox. and if you can wash the shoes. I pull the inserts out of the gym shoes and wash them.

They must be able to dry out. If they stay wet they will continue to stink. Also, if you are a woman, nylons can make your feet smell.

Go get a pedicure!!!

Do you ever get boxes of anything that have those little descancant packs?? I save them and put them in my shoes.

Or there is this other product called Stinky Pinkies... see link
they work great!

put your shoes in a plastic bag then place them in your freezer over nite. the cold temperature of the freezer will kill all the smelly bacteria in your shoes making them not stink anymore.
