I have side swept bangs and they not not fully even, they're not even that layered, one long tiny peice of hair hangs long while the rest hangs short, what can i tell my hairdresser to do to make them look full, layered, and long?

I agree with the other folks, just tell you hairdresser ro hairstylish to do what you picture them to be and it'll happen, good luck!

I don't think even your hairdresser can make them look full or long at this moment in time. I've always dreaded bad bangs. You're much too young to remember, but Mamie Eisenhour, wife of President Ike, had short two inch bangs that still make me tremble with fear and trepidation! I would have the bangs evened up and layered for now. I'd also just tuck them up under a great hairband or pin them to the side with a cute barrette until you get the length back. You may be able to get a good look with gel, depending upon their actual length. Seems to me the one long piece of hair has got to go! Just pay attention to other details, and no one will even notice the bangs!

I had my bangs "razor" cut... Your hairdresser should trim your bangs so they're even, but leave them a little long... then he/she should pull your bangs down (straight over your eyes) and cut with the razor in short strokes. You will get a really nice effect. Check out http://beauty.about.com/od/hairbasics/ht/trimbangs.htm?terms=cutting+gel

it would help if you added in more bangs. just tell the hair stylist that you want to have thicker fuller bangs and they will hook u up. it will also help if you evened out your hair after you get thicker bangs (try asking for a face frame to make it look neater) as long as you go to a GOOD stylist and you tell them what you want im sure they wont wreck your hair. good luck! have a great night :]

Ask her to change your part and trim wherever she needs to for a more even look.

Ask her to feather them with a razor.
