Eat lots of fiber rich foods - cereal, bread, etc. Fiber fills you up as do whole grains.

Eat a lot of protein - that curbs appetite because it's filling naturally. When you feel like snacking, but aren't really hungry (say you're bored or something) drink a glass of water or suck on ice (chewing on it is bad for your teeth!).

sometimes we eat because we are bored rather than hungry.Other times we are feeling hungry because we ate too many empty carbs.Cut down on the carbs and focus on protein and fresh friuts and veg. Dont ever take diet pills..they are no good for your cardiac system.

when i want to get rid of my appetite and stop feeling hungry, i drink alot of water and i chew gum. chewing gum occupies your mouth and you dont think of food too much.

try eating light snacks like carrots, apples etc. it also helps TONS if you drink a lot of water, that way you get filled up quicker and can kick your hunger cravings. trust me it works! :]
