I went to the bathroom and noticed that it was the color of green. I haven't been having stomach pains or anything. What would cause this? I recently started taking Vitamin C everyday in tablet form.

Well I did have this blue frosting from the bakery on a cake. Perhaps that's what's causing it.

My kids have green feces all the time if they eat of drink something blue..for example..fruit roll-ups or Hawaiin punch in blue. Think back...it could be artificial coloring.

Okay, not to worry you, but if it continues, get a checkup. Green in the feces, as my doctor told me once, can be a sign of dried blood in the stool. If the vitamin c was causing you distress in your colon or something, that might be a problem. Or my Dr. was some sort of quack.

But the vegetables answers sound much more fun.

Vitamins can change the color or your bowel movements. Also, depending on the shade pf green, certain veggies can cause this.

sometimes the more green veggies you eat can make your bowl movements green or that's the way of your body getting rid of iron. if you consume a little to much in iron rich foods the body turns it to waste and therefore you have green poop! nothing to worry about. its a healthy thing.

My little brother had this after eating green cereal. It was the dye. We all laughed about it. He was almost bragging.
