i need to know y frozen seeds dont sprout and plz be spicific

Because the embryo in the seed gets killed in colder temperatures and even the enzymes become in active in cold temperatures.So no enzyme action means no hormone production, no hormones means no differentiation of root and stem so no growth

Many seeds must be frozen before they will sprout.

But if the freezing makes a certain seed not sprout, then the freezing probably killed the embryo.
