Depends on what you're taking. Tough one. Not being a doc, I can't make recommendations. Obviously, coffee and pop will keep you up, but if you have high blood pressure, like me, you can't indulge. Being tired is going to be a rough one to get over. I drank tons and tons of water and a lot of orange juice and crangrape juice. Juices are really, really good for you and will clean out your system. Coffee and pop helped keep me going at work, but did little for my blood pressure situation. I don't know what kind of pills you are taking, but you really should ask your doc to be sure. Good luck to you.

You don't say how many days it's been. 'Detoxing' is a bit of a misnomer as what you're really suffering from is a reversal of neuroadaptation. The opiate neuroreceptors in your brain were accustomed to being stimulated, occupied. Now they are reverting to their natural conditions and of course you feel out of sorts. This is normal and a good thing. It will pass if you allow it to and don' take anything to try to stop it. Patient endurance is the best advice I can give you. Of course, try a short walk in the fresh air, baby steps, take everything slowly, don't expect too much. Try the obvious things, try to eat little but well, you are trying to do good things for yourself now, not just artificially and temporarily make yourself feel better. Good luck.

I think that you should consider the amount of dope you were taking and for the length of time. You need to channel your energy into something positive. Excercise is a good release. Start slow and build up to a level that is based on age and health.

Well if these are pills that doctors prescribed for you, then I would talk to them before suddenly stopping use of them, because it can be very dangerous to stop taking certain pills.
