i am 14, but i have had many people tell me i am 18, and when i tell them my real age, they dont believe me. would you find that an insult? not only do they tell me i look older, they tell me i sound as if i am in my early 20's and speak with the wisdom of a 50 year old. now i know the wisdom part isnt that much an insult, but is it an insult if they say i look older?

People think I am 14, and I am 18, just coz ama shorty, now that's an insult. When ppl say u look like ur 18 or early twenties, it's a compliment. Men a re attracted to "Women", mature and sexy, and that's what they ment i guess!! peace :P

i have gotten that a lot too (i'm 14). i just kind of brush it off... you have no control over how old you look...try wearing some brighter more exciting make up to make you look younger if it bugs you so much. wisdom can never be an insult trust me. it's a good thing and it just makes life 2938490457x easier. don't worry...it might help you out someday ~. -

im not sure. i got asked if i wanted the children's menu the other day, and i am almost 15. THAT was an insult. i haven't need it since i was 7, haven't been asked since i was 11 or so....
but if you're 14, and you look 18-20, try looking at your style. but it might just be your body structure...

No. It actually might be a compliment. just make sure people aren't saying the same thing when your 50. Then it might be an insult!

No way girl! that's a good thing! the older you look guys find you way more attractive! and they are not saying you look old like a 70 year old! they just mean you are smart and a good person!

Lucky, people think I'm 10; and I'm 14 too. Don't take it too hard, if they think you have alot of wisdom i would take that as a compliment :)

not @ your age. now when you are 35 and they tell you that u look 45 that would be something to look into. right now, u r young and i would take it as a compliment- u must be a bit mature 4 your age.

i personal don't like when people tell me i look younger well no has told me that before but i wouldn't like it nor would i like it if someone told me i look like I'm 20 when I'm only 13 i just think that's way too old cause maybe when I'm 20 people gonna think I'm 40 but it's okay it doesn't matter what people think
