I used to be umm... kind of overweight. I lost it all to what I think is a healthy weight and all the guys go crazy over me but...uhh... I am kind of self-conscious about the stretch marks on my hips ~.~
Nah, I just don't like bathing suits period... I avoid the beach <.<
But my bf is obsessed about my body, blah blah... and he wants to see me in a bikini and I'm like..."hell no!!!" Anywho....uhh.. help?

I told him already that I don't "do bikinis", but he thinks that I am insane and that I am "trippin'". That is really sweet of him, but...uh... it still doesn't change anything ^^ lol

I think you should suck up your fear and show off that body you have worked so hard to get. Since you do have stretch marks on your thighs try wearing a two piece bikini with a sheer skirt cover up. This way you have solved both issues: your stretch marks and his curiosity. I understand self consciousness. Just ease into it. Remember he loves you.
And most of all remember to love yourself regardless of your visual flaws. We all have them.

If this does not work you can always try body makeup. It comes in a can now. You can just spray it on.

Wear your 2 piece with no cover up at night. Take a stroll on the beach together. Play chase with each other. It will drive him wild. Imagine the sex!!!!!!!!!!!!

FROM A MAN. I understand your point, and I agree with your point, if your self conscious, there is nothing wrong with it. We all have some issues with ourselfs. I think he should look at it from your point of view, yes, bikini's can and are sexy, but there are alot of other things that are also. If you say ok, and your not comfortable, the whole scene won't be the same. I think you should do what your comfortable with, there really isn't alot of explaining to do, but a discussion would probably be in order. Just to let you know, though men see stretch marks, depending on the age group, the older the guy, the more he's apt "not to see them or focus on them". He may also think it's just part of your beauty, because anyway you look at it, your a complete package deal.

I know how ya feel. I have stretch marks on my thighs. I wear jeans.. a lot just to keep them covered. I was in the near overweight percentile accoring to my doctor so i worked really hard to lose a lot of weight which i did but they are still there. I use a cream that my doctor perscribed and it's helping them clear up.. they dont show as much when i swim either.
Good Luck and Don't be afraid to show off your new body.

What about boy shorts? There are some cute bikini's out there with boy shorts which would cover the stretch marks on your hips. Dont' be too self conscious. If he likes it that's all that matters. Or you could wear a wrap.

I guess depending on when you might want to show him your body, then I might be able to help. I had a baby nearly three years ago, I am still paying for my bad choices and loving Ben and Jerry's! So I have tried many things, trust me, and have found a couple of things that work well. Dove intensive firming lotion is great for tightening the skin and The Body Shop cocoa butter body wash has helped soften the scars as well as tone down the color. Hope this helps!

Then don't wear one that would show your hips. Get one with a cute little skirt or wear a fun surrong over your lower half! You should be comfortable in your own skin and in whatever YOU choose to wear. Check out Venus Swimwear online. They have tons of great options that cover the hips but still look hot.

Also check out Breezy Beach Wear for some fun accessories to add to your new suit! http://www.breezybeachwear.com

A lot of girls have stretch marks...that doesn't mean that they still don't look good in a bikini...I know there is some lotion, maybe with coco butter in it that is supposed to reduce stretch marks.

You say you used to be overweight and i suppose he loved you like that too! i can understand that your self conscious about it though! you can try a tankini, it goes down a little farther than a bikini on your stomach but its still a two piece. i hope everything works out!

Just tell your bf about it and lets see about what he thinks....if he still wants to go to the beach wear a one piece...and if he wants to see you in a bikini it doesnt have to be public where everybody can see :)

There is nothing youc can do about strech marks. all of those coco butter creams and things like that don't work. You have to make the choice if you want to show your body or not
