A screwdriver=1 shot of vodka with 4-6 ounces of orange juice. The amoung of orange juice determines the strength of the drink. Very simple and easy and you are getting your vitamin c at the same time.

Thousands.

An ounce of Vodka and orange juice is your basic screwdriver. Not bad but kind of boring. Add a half ounce of Galiano though and it gives you a very nice herby, fruity kind of twist. Or a half ounce of Blue Curacao and you get a very nice orange taste.

Vodka is a very stable cocktail ingredient. It has no flavour so can go with many many many other liquors and liqueurs. The only limit is your personal taste.

Enjoy.

3 1/2 vodka
1 1/2 coffee liquor (like Kaluha)
2 cream or half and half

Pour coffee liqueur and vodka directly into old fashioned glass filled with ice. Float cream on the top and stir in slowly.

I've had cherry gatorade and vodka and it's pretty good. It tastes like a sour fruit punch. Put some ice in it too

Vodka and orange juice has been mentioned, but

vodka and grapefruit juice (Greyhound),
vodka+tomato juice (Bloody Mary),
+cranberry juice (Cape Codder),
+ dry vermouth (stirred, not shakened--classic martini)......

and on and on we go..
