What is the best way to get rid of fairly light acne? I don't get huge bulging zits very often, I just get little bumps on my forehead and blackheads on my chin, nose, and in between my eyebrows. I don't have a serious problem, I just want to get rid of what I have. What is really the best thing? Don't answer unless you are sure your product works effectively!

Ok, I have had way worse acne than you, but if your skin is oily, then i would suggest using Acne Free, which is like ProActive, only better. I used severe acne free because it had 10% Benzoyl Peroxide in it. it brings everything up to the surface, and usually it helps prevent anything from being textury again. if you have problems with a red face, or have a scar that you want faded, i would suggest mandelic acid serum at 1.5%

since your acne seems really mild, i'd do the 'acne free' at 1.5% benzoyl peroxide.

if you get white heads, also prick the white head part off with a sterile needle, before you pop it. this helps reduce scarring and redness.

wash your face every night if you choose not to use acne free, even though it works wonders, and make sure you don't completely dry your face out.

Try using a facial scrub or products that's for getting rid of blackheads. I have a lot of blackheads on my chin and I use Biore deep cleansing pore strips they even have a combo pack for your face and nose and you can even use it on your chin also. The strips do become hard but it doesn't hurt to come off you may think it does but it doesn't. Once you pull it off you will see all those blackheads on the strip. I like the product and it works. Make sure your wash your face at night and especially if you were makeup. Not with soap, Mary Kay has very good scrubs and moisturizers for the face also. Try and see I'm sure it will work.

Stop using regular soap. Use Neutrogena unscented bars instead. Then use Acnestatin. Proactive might be the same stuff. You have to use the stuff for a few weeks to get the benefits. Don't be surprised if your skin gets worse at first. Stick with it an your skin will look great. Drinking water helps to. Good luck

to open the pores and loosen dirt and grease from your face, turn off heat under a pan of steaming raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar to a qt of water. steam your face over the pan and use a towel draped over the head to trap the steam. then pat vinegar on face with a cotton ball to remove the loosened dirt. repeat steaming and cleansing twice. then you can gently queeze out any blackheads. then pat or spray on chilled apple cider vinegar, diluted with an equial part of distilled water to close pores and tone skin
