i am 5'5 or so and weigh 185. the things is that i don't look it...people are shocked when i tell them how much i weigh. i used to be 140 before i had kids (i had 2 c-sections within 15 months of each other). i am trying so hard now to get in the habit of working out some and eating better than i am now, but i can't seem to get motivated. after 3 years of my babies' father telling me i was fat (he didn't even wait a month after i had our first son to start telling me that), my guy now is happy with me. should i even worry about it?

it could be muscle and stuff so no your not that fat....for having kids that's really good...eating better and exercise is good for anyone really...so i don't think you should worry about it unless a doctor recommends you lose weight...

The reason why you don't look it is probably because you have alot of muscle, which weighs more then fat. Your tall too so I'd say your fine, but whatever your decision is, don't get too worried about your weight. Your babies dad was an ***, no offence, but he has no right telling you that. Good job on finding somebody new. ;)

Sounds like you're motivated now ! See your doctor for a checkup, get on a healthy diet, and start that exercise program......
Don't worry about the past or what your babies father said...Sometimes comments like his seem gruff ,but he meant well in an odd way..Just get it together and start your program...Worrying about what the past felt like doesn't help today !
