So there I was in a suit.. feeling good and proud of myself today after nailing a couple of interviews. I was marching with pride. Glowing with confidence... and as always...
there were the ladies S..T...A...R...I..N...G ! (aka staring!).

Sometimes such attention make you proud. A couple kept eye contact... and smiled with that cute snicker then looked away. Others said, "Ohhh, nice suit you wearing today." A few looked shyly then left passing me at the same time brushing their hair.

I don't know if these are great indicators but I think we have a lot of shy women in this country. They keep to themselves. You know? Oh, such attention is an ego boost! really!

There was this one girl who i occasionally spotted as being shy around me and also glancing my way and looking sometimes and smiling a bit. I could tell because everytime I met her gaze she would slowly look down and then smile to herself.

So I'm thinking should we really pay attention to a woman's body language?

Great advice everyone! and to LISTA - yes, I do get this much attention even without the suit. So it has happened to me occasionally.

Absolutely! I am one to talk quite "big" behind my keyboard but get me in person and tho not "shy" so much as I am not about to make the first move.

I would say "approach gently", peek under her gaze, and command some attention. Bet you get it. Be a man. My bet - she's looking for just that.

Well, yeah. If she stares at you, occasionally looks at you and smiles to herself. Those are all great indicators that she likes you. That's what us shy girls do. We can't come up and talk to the guy, so we keep to ourselves and think about you, that's pretty much it. You should always make the first move with a girl like that. She'll be very flattered and though she's shy, if she's anything like me, then she'll overcome it and actually talk to you. I think body language says more then words, because you can always lie with words, but it's hard to fake body language.

ok, seriously, if you were on that much of a high, if you were really feeling as confident as you sound like you were, WHY DIDN'T YOU GO UP TO ONE OF THOSE GIRLS? i hate when guys can stare and give you the look and the grin and then do NOTHING! you shouldn't do that. you should get off your butt and hop to it. it's a lot more flattering to be approached by a guy than to be stared at. go and make a move, buy a drink, ask her out, do something productive because just looking at girls will get you no where! trust me!

Do you always get this much attention? Quite possibly it was the suit. Maybe you portrayed the image of the young urban professional high income potential type. Women typically like professional, handsome well-dressed men.

Yes. Some women show their true feelings the way they stand/through their eyes, etc. Same thing goes for men.

WAKE UP. a woman's body language is everything. obviously her feelings too but how a woman is feeling is mostly through her body if she isnt really speaking to you up front.

Most definitely, women will usually not come right out and ask a man out they will usually just send out little signals.
