Just calm down. you know that you can sing it really well! just dig deep inside yourself and say your going to sing the song as best as possible. take a deep breath and go for it. dont hold back cause no one can hear you but dont scream the high notes.
and if he's been your teacher for 2 years you should be more comfortable around him. just relax, have fun, and kick a**!

p.s. if you got an A last time i'm sure you'll get one again

Okay, I am a music freak. I'm in choir and show choir and I'm only 12. I've went to a choir thing at 5 in the morning and got back home at midnight. Now the music program is an awesome thing to get into. After I joined show choir I became less afraid of signing in front of people. I've been taking voice lessons for a couple months now and its helped so much. She's taught me to sing correctly and all that jazz. Well singing in front of her is easy now. All you have to so is to stand up nice and straight, with your feet apart and one foot a little in front of the other. Hands at your sides and take deep breaths. And don't get to nervous, he's not going to say you suck. If you did something wrong he'll probably tell you what you did wrong and hoe to fix it.I recommend to take singing lessons if possible. It's great when you feel confident enough to sing a song in front of people. I am nervous because i have to sing in from of a judge. Just hopeful the judge isn't too mean. Now good luck with your voice test. I'm sure you'll do fine.

It'll be okay--I had to do the same thing once. The teacher--no matter what he/she thinks about your singing--will not say or tell anyone about what he/she heard in that room. Just try your best, and trust the fact that everyone tells you that you sing well. Ok?? It's worth a try. I'm sure there's people that are even more nervous cause they KNOW they can't sing. At least you have the thought in the back of your head that you can. K?? Be happy. It'll be over in approximately 2 minutes. Even though I sing well, I had to sing in front of the class of 40 PEOPLE!!!
Don't complain, you have it good...

I know how you feel, but don't worry. The hardest part is when your teacher will call your name and you know it's your turn. Then you will realize ok I'm going to do it. The first few notes are nerve wracking but then you won't be nervous I promise. I have tryouts and competitions and other stuff for choir and I'm a very nervous person with that stuff. But once I get out the first few notes I am fine. Good Luck! =]

I think this question is bogus. You can't sing in front of anyone? What the hell are you doing in a choir then? Do you just stand there and move your lips? If you've done this in front of this teacher before, and have had this instructor for two years, you can't sing in front of him/her? It's a joke.

calm down!!!! this'll be easy! since its just you and him, no one will hear if you mess up, (which you only will if you stress too much...) but he'll be the only one who hears. and if hes a person who teaches often, he's going to have heard much worse and not mind, but help you improve. and its not like if you mess up hes going to walk out of the room andtell everyone. you'll do fine, dont worry

first: calm down

second: don't even try if you know you're gonna suck.
