Call the VET!!
they say to watch them closely for the first 12 hours.
If he's not eatting, or drinking water, and you can't get him to play
get him to the ER VET asap!!
if he's just a pup, try giving him his favorite treat, they do sleep 18 hours a day.
but this IS NOT NORMAL!

dont worry my dog did the excact same thing. except she threw up as well. we were worried also we called the vet and they said that some dogs have an allergic reaction to the shots there's a shot that you can get before your dog gets a shot that makes them act normal. everytime we get this shot before my dog has her actual shot. she doesn't act different anymore. i would tell you what the shot is called but i can't remember it and i don't have it writted down anywhere. you can ask your vet about it next time your dog needs to have a shot it really helps.

I dont know but it might be what the chemicals in teh shots do to him. I suggest that if this keeps happening to take him back to the vet. Normaly in my opinion a not hungry dog is a miserable dog.

When you say WE I hope you say the we as in you & the vet. I have heard that this can take place but if it goes on for more than 48 hours you need to get back to the vet ASAP.
If it were me I would get to the vet now just to have the dog in better hands.
Good luck.

No not normal. Call your vet and speak with him or her.
All my vet ever told me was that my dogs may be a bit sore at the injection site. My dogs never acted like that.

Yes it's normal as long as he is acting like this up to 48 hours after he got the shot. It can cause lethargy and loss of appetite. After the 48 hour period, if he's still acting like this, take him back to the vet. But should be nothing to worry about!

NO it is not normal! How long ago did he get the shot? Did he have any other shots at the same time? I would call the vet ASAP.

Sometimes these vaccines are hard on the little guys, if he doesn't get perky in another day call the vet and ask what to do.

yeah its normal, but only for like 1 day, if it lasts longer than that, ask your vet.....the smaller the dog, the worse they are affected
