Consider the Quran's version of heaven:
“(Here is paradise) which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible… RIVERS OF WINE, a JOY to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear.” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/047.qmt.html#047.015
Quran 56:36 “(regarding heaven) then we have made them virgins,” http://www.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/056.qmt.html#056.036
In the caveman world of Muhammad's Arabia...honey, wine and virgins were the zenith of living. By today's standards, these products dont compete well in any of their respectivive categories. Wine? Ok with an occasional steak but how many more people would prefer a flavored Absolut product or a rum runner river?
Virgins? Thats fine for an insecure Muslim, but what about normal secure men who enjoy love-making? A woman who knows what shes doing blows-away the virgin everytime.
Is honey rivers supposed to be a good thing? I thought honey lacks the viscosity to stream as a river...

Re:Virgins
Mohammed's favorite wife was a 9 year old... The obsession with virgins and children as $3xual partners stems from the fact that they are a much better fit for the "portions" of Mohammed's manhood, if you catch my drift

I consider the answer above. children as we talk haven't any problem with creativity. they are quite imaginitive. Creativity isn't the region you note, maximum of those television shows were no longer made by this new technology; neither is maximum of what is going on in Hollywood the responsibility of this new technology. perhaps somewhat extra of the music. we've not considered the most suitable this new technology can arise with because of many stuff. between them, they attempt to locate a voice--the web helps, by the way. yet truly our authorities and the tremendous companies contained in the u . s . (including in Hollywood, the music market, television, etc.) might want to a huge volume left them out contained in the chilly. This has been authentic for a lengthy time period, besides the undeniable fact that it variety of feels to be worse now that ever before.

Why would it lack creativity? It's the word of God. Not to mention that you're reading an English translation which lacks depth since the Quran's original language is Arabic. Maybe you should go look up some awesome hadiths about the huge mansions of jewels and gold as well.

If your pour honey from a steep place, it'll work I guess. Honey, wine and virgins ARE the zenith of living. It's people's jobs to procreate and drink and eat.
Its the same with the Bible, when we go to Heaven, it'll be lined with gold. (Gold is too soft to make buildings or roads out of)

The things you describe are interpretations and are just a few of the many verses in the Quran that describe Heaven.
Neither is your interpretation nor the verses you mentioned are exhausting the descriptions mentioned in the Quran.

these things aren't always meant to be taken literally.
and besides this book was presented to Arabs first
so they had to understand by their standards.
In English the Quran is beautiful
but in Arabic it makes you want to cry (in a good way)
and its just beyond beautiful.
when you ask about honey
honey is sweet, people like sweet things
that's what it is implying.
What are you talking about whine is considered a delicacy
and in heaven its pure and clean whine
with no alcohol and you can drink as much as you want and never get intoxicated.

i read the koran the other day out of curiousity and i noticed that too. All it talks about are the virgins in heaven with their big eyes and innocent faces! I agree with the other girl, its a pervs fantasy! I agree with you too, a woman who knows what she is doing well will take out a virgin anyday......
