Our puppy absolutely loves her nylabone, but make sure to read the packaging and supervise! She was chewing the puppy nylabone we got as a new puppy gift and little pieces off of hers within 2 days, it wasn't an edible bone, so we had to toss it. We went back to the store and got her a huge red rubbery nylabone that she loves.

We also get her the hollowed out sterilized bones. They're great plain or to hide treats in.

Nyla bones are artificial and have no nutritional value so they are essentially chewing toys.
Neck bones are good. Stay away from chicken and turkey legs, they break with sharp points like daggers and can injure your dog.

There is no such thing as a good bone. If any, a treat like bone. Our doctors recommend not hard bones, as they cause splentering and often, large pieces get lodged causing frequent exploratory surgeries. If you saw the amount of surgeries we do on dogs that their masters gave them bones, you'd stick to treats yourself!

There are many out there that you can try. I use the the raw Femur bones for mine. I put in Microwave for 30 seconds and then when cool I dig out some of the Marrow so my dogs get to much of it. Just remember that no matter which bones you choose for your dog ALWAYS supervise them.

Our dog likes Greenies. They are made especially for the teeth and come in a variety of sizes.

If you are looking for natural bones you could try soup bones or ham hocks. If you are looking for something that is made try dentabones. Honestly though I think that your pooch will enjoy the real bones more.
