A little late for that, isn't it? 0-8 puppies are possible. But instead of forcing her to go through this, why not take her to the vet and get her spayed? Since you don't know anything about breeding or whelping, do the responsible thing and get her spayed. The world doesn't need more 'accidents' or breeders breeding pet quality dogs.

I have a Bichon and her mother had 2 liters, one of 3 and another of 6... so I don't know if that helps you out any :)

I would say anywhere from 1-8, but if you are not familiar with this process, perhaps you should talk to your vet about getting her spayed.
