Please tell me you are joking.
Who do you think is out here killing your troops? I can tell you first hand that they exsist and they are responsible for thousands of Coalition Forces' and Iraqi civilian deaths.
Maybe if I were at home, safe and comfortable and happy, with all of my friends alive and safe around me, I would think like that too....nevermind, I would never think like that. You are there and have no idea what goes on over here.
So how about you guys who say Al-Qaeda doesn't exsist come over here and see for yourself. Again, it's easy to make make judgements from your couch isn't it?

Nowadays, al-Qaeda, or to be more precise - Tanzim Qaedat al-Jihad (Brigade of Basis of Jihad), exists more as an ideology than any organized criminal structure.
The proof of that hypothesis is the absence of any spectacular attck carried out by the organization in the last 2 year period.
Another agrument is that the leaders have not claimed such an attack, they simply appeal to Muslims to support and participate in illegal activity. And most of highly-qualified cadres have been captured or killed which has proven the vitality of such modus operandi.
Lastly, American intelligence has itself in fact hijacked the Qaedaism in order to justify huge remittances paid to defense and intelligens government bodies and sub-contractors. This is what al-Qaeda is today - neither structurized and nor organized militia.

The events of 9/11 and our current gulf war support the existence of Al Queda as something other than some CIA agent's drug-induced "inspiration." We may have the name wrong, but you can bet "They" are out there, and in force. US economy is based on how many arms we can sell to the native unrest faction of foriegn countries and how long we can make the wars last. We are indeed a "feudal society" ruled currently by "King George" whom bought his way in with oil money and BU--SH--, the Number 2 Texas export. No figment here, our country by its dependence on petroleum products invites opposition from Arab countries via a "gentleman's agreement: You overcharge our desire for tech and automobile industry supremacy and we will handle the protests of US taxpayers by threats of IRS audits.

Largely used as a US bogeyman when the US wants to justify it's Imperialist actions globally. Al Qaeda is a loosely affiliated group based on a shared belief system, kind of like these white supremacist Timothy McVeigh guys in the US. They share a common vision, but are not organized.
In reality the vision of Al Qaeda is more reasonable than the McVeigh types, because they have concrete facts to back up thier fanaticism, such as the US DOES have military based in Saudi Arabia and in Arab lands where they broke treaties and lied to maintain them there, and the Saudi family (AL Qaeda's true enemy) is ignoring them wishes of the masses of Arabs who want them removed. Thus 9-11... its simple to understand if you care to look at the facts.
99.9% of Americans ignore the facts which is why they have GW Bush as a president, he is them...
HE IS THEM, same outlook on the world, an ignorant, blind, dry drunk view.
Compared to Pakistan, Al Qaeda is a speck of sand on the beach.

It is most probably a creation of America's imagination for the purpose of an excuse to prosecute the "crusade". Just as there are probably other creations like 80% of the so-called al-qaeda bombs going off in Iraq are actually American-arranged bombs.

Bin laden is an old buisiness associate of the Bush family along with other major Arab investors, they have fianaced the Bush family for years. The invasion, is a US, Arab backed invasion to obtain control of Iraqi oil. Iraq is one of the leading oil producing countries by far. There it is in a nutshell.

only the government knows that, in fact they could be just scaring people but pose no real threat. The real threat is mainly home grown terror, which sparks extremists.
