im 18 i got mad at my mom becuase she wouldn't buy this movie for me at walmart and i kinda called her a ***** when she said no, she said i threw a fit like a baby, got really mad at me, told me that since i wanna act like a baby and throw a tantrum in the store then she is going to treat me like one, so tonight she is giving me a early bed and bath time, like if i was 3 years old again, she told me that it will be supervised whatever that means?, and she will get me ready for bed, she even got these really embarrassing pj pants and a pacifier, she is stupid right? this isnt fair is it? she cant treat me like a baby?

She's proving a point. You were way out of line. Your parents don't owe you anything but food and shelter.

To throw a fit over a material item that you should be fully capable of purchasing yourself was selfish, ridiculous, immature, ungrateful, and disrespectful. Furthermore, if you did this INSIDE the store, she must be mortified and humiliated at your behavior. You would have publicly embarrassed her.

If this is how your mother chooses to get the point across to show you how childish you acted, well hell. Be lucky that she's not one of those moms who "spanks".

feels like the subject is that he have been given spoiled youthful, the two no punishment or reinforcemnt from dad. the suitable subject to do is permit him throw his tantrum and overlook approximately it, at 8 yrs previous there is no way he could desire to be doing this until it went un controllable for too long. My 5 twelve months previous has never thrown a tantrum much less nonetheless act that way at age 8. possibly he's upload and has hassle in school yet now he prob needs expert help to quit his awful habit. All he needs in his room is a mattress and cloth cloth wardrobe, no toys so while he gets despatched there or close in his room for a day out he wont have something to play with.

For starters...you're 18...why the hell is your mommy buying your stuff for you anyway...why don't you have a job?

She can still buy you your food and maybe even the clothes you NEED (not want) for school or whatever...but you should be earning your own money to buy crap you don't need.

And what does "kinda called her a *********." mean?? Either you did or you didn't ...an adult would be able to take responsibility for their actions ...a child would squirm and try to make excuses and "Kinda" try to get out of it.

I don't think your mother is the one that is being stupid.

First of all if you where my son and call me that at 18 I would do to you like I would anyone else that called me that, I would smack you in your face. As far as the pacifier that is taking it a little too far. But you need to grow up. When I was 18 I had a job and got most of the things that I wanted on my own. Sounds to me like you need to get a JOB and try to take care of yourself a little more. You by law are a grown person. Start acting as if you are.

Well I think it was VERY wrong of you to call your mother the B word because she would not buy you a movie and yes it does sound like you kind of threw a tantrum. You are 18, if you want stuff go and get a job, your mother is not responsible for you anymore and no longer has to give you money or buy you anything.

If your mom is really doing all the stuff you say she is the women sounds very fruity and by supervised if she means supervising you in the shower that is against the law and she can be arrested and if my mom would do something like that I would question if she had something mentally wrong with her, your mom does have the right to ground you if you are living in her house and not paying rent.

I think your mom is pretty funny and yes she absolutly can treat you like a baby if you are going to behave like one. Actually you are behaving WORSE than a toddler becuase you are 18 and you know better that to disrespect your mother and over something as stupid as a movie! When I was fourteen I really acted up and my Mom said if I act like a baby I would be treated like a baby. I had to wear diapers for the weekend.

I was so embarrassed but hey I got over it and I behaved (well for a little while anyway).

Oh yes she can bc u deserve this type of treatment. When you carry youself in a 18yr manner you will be treated as an 18yr old.
