Not at all. I feel they are mislead by others and easy targets of fraud, but there is nothing to be "lost" from. I feel they are afraid to question things that need questioning....but if they're okay with that, its fine by me.

I absolutely believe that religious people are lost. Clinging to an ancient superstition used to control the masses of class society. I am speaking of the 3 major religions Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. They are longing for the truth that stares them right in the face. Logic and Science point to the obvious conclusion, there is no God. We as organisms have likely sprung to life on this planet due to circumstance and a proper combination of life sustaining variables (elements, chemistry). However reality and existence go further beyond that. There are microcosms and macrocosms that are beyond our comprehension at this point. That is not to say that God may exist on one of those "unseeable" levels. For if you say that then you should be at least open to the idea that there are fairies behind my toilet that made and control the entire universe.

Yes I do believe that your religion is a bunch of BS.

I do believe a man name Jesus existed. I do believe he a great philosopher and had a beautiful message to share with the world.

I believe he was no more the son of God than we are the children of God.

I can be a good and moral human without the need of fairy tales and imaginary torture in hell for disobeying or unbelievable pleasure in some after life for doing good on earth without people telling me how to live a good life and get thrown into jail

Sort of. There's no proof, and never will be, that there isn't an all-powerful supernatural being. Many things in the Bible/Quran have been proven to be scientifically incorrect or impossible. But mainly my qualm is a moral one rather than a scientific one, by letting a couple 2nd century scholars decide what's right and wrong instead of using democracy and our own conscience to guide us on moral matters.

So, yes and no. They can believe what ever they want to believe about a supernatural being, but the Bible is definitely NOT historically or scientifically accurate. It's not a matter of intelligence, it's just where we get our knowledge from. I got mine from Biology, History, Geography and Physics classes; they got theirs from Bible Class. It's just so happened I listened to my teachers and they listened to their preachers.

Not at all, I believe people are people and all people just want to be happy, and all people have the capacity for wisdom and altruism, but then I'm also Buddhist (as well as atheist) so I'm learning patience and "hope" for all sentient beings, no matter how unkind some can be.

Not lost. Just on a different path.

And if it makes them happy and does no harm, well, that's just fine and dandy.
