Ok, the girl who said that these exercises "gain muscle" is, for lack of a better term, speaking well out of place.

Listen... Testosterone is a MALE hormone which is also a precursor to MUSCLE. Women have limited amounts of testosterone which means that you will NOT get big. No matter how hard you work out and how much you eat. Can you put on some muscle? Absolutely, but without taking steroids (synthetic testosterone) you WILL NOT GET BIG.

Ok, now that that's out of the way...... the amount of calories you burn depends on the amount of resistance offered. Mainly: Intensity and how much do you weigh?

With that in mind, there's really no way of knowing for sure. Just work out, it's better than not working out.

you need to loose wait before doing those because sit ups and push ups gain muscle
