why do angels have contact with god but humans dont

Angels are not better than humans. They are created beings just like we are. They worship God. We worship God. They were created for a different purpose.

As far as religion goes, it's because Angels are God's guardians and God chose them carefully. I think Angels are perfect, that's the only difference, in my opinion, no human is perfect.

Angels were made to serve God directly. They don't live on Earth, and they don't fall prey to the human condition. Because of this, they are able to transcend human needs and desires. They don't "sin" as we understand such things, and are allowed to be always directly in the presence of the Divine. We on the other hand, have to earn our way there. They are able to see all things from an overview, while we are only able to see our little piece of things, yet another thing that makes us susceptible to the human conditon.

11I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
This why Angels are better than humans. You cannot even begin to compare to John the Baptist, and he could not even begin to compare to the least in the kingdom of heaven.

Angels are created beings just like we are, but the ones with Him have not sinned, so they have the right to be with Him. When we ask Jesus into our hearts then we get to go to heaven to spend eternity with Him. That will be a great day to go there for ever.

Here's one line of thinking:
God created man to be stewards on earth and angels to be stewards in heaven. In that context, one isn't necessarily better than the other, just different.
In Christianity, the belief is that humans have it better than angels because we have free will. We get to experience God's love while they get to watch it.

Angels are God's servants. Satan disobeyed God and refused to bow to mankind, thus removing himself from God.
Why can't we hang with God like the Angles? Adam & Eve picked knowledge over eternal life. Don't fret ... Jesus came and made a bridge for us to heaven ... so, in the end, we'll have knowledge/ wisdom & eternal life.

angels arnt better than humans .. in fact we humans are the ones with the promises and created in Gods image ... and the bible even says we will judge angels ... and we do have contact with God ...
