I've never had a problem with Nair. I leave it on for the maxium amount of time then get in the shower and use a wash cloth rolled up and pull it agaisnt the hair growth to remove. I can usually go about a week without using it again. The hair also grows in softer than using a razor and shaving cream. But I have seen mild chemical burns from the product. Try it on small spot like by your ankle to test it. If you feel it burning or itching wash it off immeadiately and don't use it again. If you know you have sensitive skin don't use the product.

There are varieties of Nair to work on sensitive skin as well so try that first if in doubt ^_^
-The hair starts to resurface about a week after using.
-Hair regrowth is the same thickness as with shaving, except it is more fragile, frizzy because of chemical damage.
-Sometimes it can be clumpy, especially if you left the nair on longer in the parts you covered first!
-Nair smells very pongy, and gave me headache when first I used it. It also took off some of my arm hairs by accident lol. Be careful with it- it's nasty stuff ^_^
-After using Nair, my moisturiser burned when I applied it, though I hadn't left the nair on too long. I recommend a frangrance-free moisturiser.
-For effective hair removal, I would recommend Silky Mitt, which is like a very fine sandpaper to gently remove hair. It lasts for around a week each, or a little longer, and is pain free, won't leave burns, and also exfoliates the skin on the leg as well making them more radiant. And no ouchies ^_^
Good luck!!

Nair works well, and the hair starts growing back around a week later.

Nair only works well if your hair is not too thick or coarse. I remember getting irritated from it years ago, but I don't know if it is different now.
