Military ministers have rules also: they have to be ready to minister "sacraments" to every and any military person in need, in their own religion. It doesn't matter if the Minister is a Christian by faith...if the soldier needing his services is a Satanist, the Christian minister has to perform a Satanic service!

Military chaplins in the Middle East have had to perform Islamic buriel rites, something that is AGAINST their own religion, on dying Muslims.

Conversely, if a Christian minister is called to the bedside of an athiest, he is not *allowed* to violate the athiest soldier's beliefs. They can have a conversation about whatever the soldier desires, nothing more.

It is all part of the job.

Don't dog tags state a person's religion? I'm sure that there are priests, rabbis, ministers, and secular counselors available for everyone. Why even Satanism is recognized as an official religion by the Army.

as they say - there are no athiests in foxholes....

on board ships and in various military compounds and at all military affairs - they have a chaplin present who offers a prayer. so IMO -- nope! unless. of course, the person requests otherwise.
