Im in 7th grade and there is this guy in my class that just broke up with his girlfriend and he says that he doesnt like her anymore, so i told him that i liked him. but he told my friend that he only thought ii was cute nothing more. but he always stares at me during class and then he just smiles and when we go to high school bball games he lookes around for me and when he finds me he smiles. my bestfriend asked him why he always stares at me but he just deinied that he doesnt. but he keeps staring at me. what should i do???

He is afraid to admit that he has feelings for you. Ask him up front. Don't start going down the chain of friends or anything. Just ask him out and see where it goes.

Guys never want to admit their true feelings to the girl he likes 's friends. He likes you!!!!!! I think that he is just shy, or he still isn't completely over his ex-girlfriend and doesn't want to get hurt by you or something.
