airsoft guns are a legitimate topic of questioning. i guess if you're into it. don't complain about questions being posted in an area where *YAHOO PUTS THEM*. when a question is asked most people let answers automatically categorize them and since it IS a gun (gun being defined as any device created to fire a projectile by use of the expansion of gas) it technically does belong in the main forum for fire arms . i.e. hunting. yahoo won't make something specialized for airsoft because there's not enough reason. and don't degrade airsoft calling them toys. airsoft guns are about as much toys as paintball guns or baseball bats. their the equipment for a recognized sport. and yes. it is recognized look it up.
as for "mature people that don't play with toys" how many of you own an ATV just because it's fun to own, how abotu a dirtbike, or a fast car for racing? how about a shotgun just for competition shooting like trap or skeet? would those not be "toys" as defined for anything used specifically for entertainment and having no other real *practical* use. think about how you word things before you say something stupid.

i dont know but it gets old because like u said it is a toy, and you cant kill ne thing with it so t isnt a hunting weapon, therefor should not be in the hunting section. it does waste serious hunters time. so if ur reading this people who are asking airsoft questions... go to the toy section.

I see your point - too a point ! I hunted a rat & was happy to kill it last week at work with my pump bb gun. If you want to get technical ! Why are there all these home defence ? 9mm this 9 mm that on here are you hunting people in your own house. Nothing against the 9mm. But nothing against airsoft either. I like my 12 g.

There really isn't a forum for air guns or air soft pistols. Those asking questions here are more likely to get answers here than in a section about video games and toys.
Remember, today's air soft shooters and air gun shooters are tomorrow's generation of hunters.

Most of the hunters I know also shoot Airsoft. It's reasonable to ask questions about those types of guns here.

The are immature and unorganized. Real men, real guns. And don't forget, real men eat what they shoot.
