I have previously asked about how a girl can tell whether a guy is confident without even speaking to him and some people, almost all seem to be of the opinion that the guy should be himself and someone will come along but what if the guy is a shy, quiet guy. Do girls immediately see this due to his mannerisms, think this guy doesn't have much confidence and therefore not really be attracted to him?
I am confident in myself but due to being shy (a way i have always been so it is ot easy for me to try and be something im not) i fear i will send out negative messages to girls out there
can you advise me ladies?

While you are shy, smile. Smile more. It can help send a better message across. Don't do something that is out of your character because you will not be comfortable and it will show.:)

I don't think that girls see shy guys as having a lack of confidence. Some girls are attracted to the overly confident guy, but some girls can sence the shy guy and, believe it or not, they do find that to be very cute. Maybe there's a girl that's interested, but she's shy too. You never know. I think that girls will ultimately sence the kind of guy you are and speaking for every girl I know, we like to observe the guy we've got our eye on so we watch you and how you interact with your friends and then we'll see the guy you really are and if it seems that no one likes you, don't worry. You will find someone. Just look at it this way: that's one person closer to the one you're suppose to be with.

Just hold your head high, and smile. You don't have to say a word. Self confidence is also self-evident! Shy and quiet does not go hand in hand with lacking confidence.
Some women are very much attracted to the guy who is not confident in a social situation. All you have to do then, is not push them away.
If you are average looking, and you say you feel confident in yourself, there is nothing standing in your way.

Its the way you carry yourself and through conversation when a woman can tell if a guy is self confident or not. Being shy doesnt have anything to do with it.

Dont worry about being shy because if you have these qualities, personality, being kind and conciderate and caring that will shine through when the person gets to know you. Believe me when i tell you that lots of women will not have a problem with a shy man. please just be yourself and not something you're not because if they find out that you're not that person they will think you are a fake and be very upset with you.

I think that the shy guy is the better choice than the loud brash kind of guy. If girls ignore you coz you give off 'shy' vibes than they aren't worth the time and would probably be high maintenance any way. if you have to be something your not to attract a girl than that girl is not worth it. you should always be YOURSELF!! good luck and i hope this helps

some girls like the shy ones! it gives a girl a lil bit of a challenge and girls like challanges! plus if you're confident within-- im sure after one or two dates you'll show her and all will be well!

the quiet shy guy in a group is always the one that stands out the most, so just be yourself. there is someone for every one and when you stop looking for her she will find you.

thats apart of confidence, its not called, not being yerself, its called getting a date, if yer shy than you jus dont approach her but if she approaches you have all the confidence in the world, easy, but so that it doesnt come off as cockiness....if you like the girl, make eye contact with her, smile, easy stuff it doesnt take much so that atleast if she comes over to talk to you and you are confident it wont come off as cocky since you have shown yer liking fer her.

Don't fret - there's someone for everyone.
Girls can tell and so can you if you encounter someone who is shy. What matter is you connect with the person - you have something in common to talk about. Take it from there. Don't let it discourage you.
