My friend works at a restaurant and has shared with me that the owner and head manager are partners in a drug dealing operation that takes place on the premises, and that the restaurant is a possible front for it. He also said that about six months ago an employee was threatened by the owner and he quickly moved out of town because he was scared for his life. Also, the owner has been accused by some of the employees of "adjusting" the employees time cards by up to 10 hours per week and some of them are considering contacting Dept of Labor and Industries. When the owner was confronted by my friend about that, he started yelling that nobody better f***ing mess with him because this is how he did business in Los Angeles. We live in a relatively small and isolated town, about 50,000 people or so, and I don't give a flying cr*p how he does business in LA. This sort of thing is not acceptable in my community as far as I'm concerned. So my question is, what should my friend and I do?

Make an anonymous call to the local police with everything you've mentioned here. Chances are, if you're in a small town the cps are already looking at them, but that shouldn't prevent you from doing your civic duty.
