It when I let him out side then he runs off. While he is out, he likes to chase cars. Some of you guys who answered like the ones who said tie him to the bumper shouldn't be answering if you have nothing nice to say.

*ahem* get a fence or a leash before that poor dog gets hit by a car, or an animal control officer gives you a fine.

well i would never let a dog run free in any area that they could get into any type of trouble... if you must have the dog in an area with cars make sure he is on a strong leash and if you do give the dog away make sure the new owners know about his love of chasing cars.... do not put a treat in a remote control car.... it will make his problem worse he will associate chasing things with rewards... try to get him lots of exercise too

YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR DOG CONTAINED. He's going to get run over. Even putting up a chicken wire fence may do some good. If this is totally unavoidable, and he's going to jump 10 foot fences to chase cars, get a shock collar. Yes, it's cruel to shock a dog jumping on strangers, but this is LIFE OR DEATH. He needs to learn quickly not to chase cars. Shock him on HIGH, enough that he SCREAMS. Call him back, treat. Again, I hate shock collars, but I would rather shock my dog than have him run over. ALWAYS WATCH YOUR DOG. If you can't call him back 100% of the time, keep him on a leash or a drag line.

we've an analogous situation here in indiana. people think of..i stay interior the rustic..it somewhat is okay to enable them to run loose. the different day an analogous jack/parson russel terror { i be attentive to terrier, yet this one is nuts } chased my automobile, and a few weeks in the past got here into our fenced backyard { he ought to slot in by using it, it somewhat is livestock fencing } and bit my rhodesian ridgeback , Diamond !!! he lives some million/2 mile away and he thinks he lives with my next-door acquaintances because of fact they have fed him and allowed him of their abode till now. he comes into my backyard and growls, snarls, and shows his tooth ..and he's on MY materials !!! the acquaintances took him back to his vendors, or maybe made him a dogs abode, and he keeps coming back. we've a million animal administration agent interior the county, who's 15 miles away , and may be able to not come out here except it somewhat is serious. all i will say is undesirable vendors, out of control dogs, and autos ...do not combination !!! i might like a regulation to be surpassed that in case you get a dogs and it somewhat is killed on the line because of forget and no preparation..you're able to desire to be banned from having a dogs for existence !!!! it somewhat is diverse if a dogs gets out { broke a window, somebody broke in and enable the dogs out, etc. } and replaced into not a commonly used on the line. i'm going to choose for the dogs..according to danger somebody will take him abode and retrain him.

Get a remote control car and just put a treat on it and just let him chase it around.

you could always get a shock collar to help teach him or get an under ground electric fence!
