i'm in 8th grade. a lot of girls in my grade are talking about their boyfriends, and i just get so jealous. also, my cousins always bring their boyfriends to my grandma's house, so now my grandma expects me to have one ,too. (my cousins are 16 and 17, but my grandma thinks i'm just like them, or should be anyway) but my mom says i shouldn't worry that i don't have a boyfriend. am i an outcast 'cause i don't have one?

i wouldnt worry about it.... no need to rush to have a boyfriend... relationships can be alot of work, sometimes they arent worth it, you will eventually meet someone..... being single has it benefits, take full advantage of not having to please someone, and dont even think your an outcast for being single, thats just silly to think that

i didnt have a boyfriend untill i was 17 i did have a lot of guy friends but i really didnt care about havign a boyfriend... i was happy without one... dont let peopel pressure you into looking for one if you dont really want to have one....
