I like shot guns because you can load mulipule BB's into the chamber and they have good power and distance but autos have more firepower and have bigger capacities but are weaker. I already know pistols rock, but man cannot survive on handguns alone.

Good Quality AEG's can surpass 400 fps, while shotguns top out at around 300 fps. The more bb's you shoot at once, the lower the fps. All the shotguns I have had experiance with, were cranky, innacurate, and broke fairly quickly. You need to look at AEG's, and limit your search to AEG's with metal gears and metal gearboxes. Almost any of these will send someone with an airsoft shotgun running for cover. Check out the WELL R-6. It's a Tokyo Marui M-4 clone that shoots 350fps with a hot battery, and has a 450 round spring-wound magazine allowing up to 80 round bursts. Very real looking and feeling, too...For about 100 bucks.
Can't beat that with a stick!

I beg to differ on that one. I have survived many a battle with just my KWC Glock 17L Ultra Grade, KWC 1911 Ultra Grade, and my UHC M9 heavy. How I do it is a trade secret.
