Just believing in no higher power. I have a code of personal morals and beliefs I follow by, just like every other religion. I'm kind of like a Christian, minus the God/"Jesus is our savior"/Bible parts.
I don't really believe in ghosts. There are some creepy instances I've experienced that led me to wonder...and I'm certainly not as comfortable in the dark as I should be (I tend to feel panicked wondering around when I can't see anything), but I don't really think there are ghosts. The human mind can play tricks on people--and does so quite often.

certainly the wide-unfold technological point of mankind has greater over the final couple of centuries with the commercial and digital and suggestions revolutions. besides the undeniable fact that, the idealistic image you're portray isn't the excellent tale. this could nicely be a floor image. below those "eradicated" illnesses are resistant new forms of ailment. We (mankind) at the instant are not the only species in the international to adapt; our advances have not proceeded with out outcomes. this is the phobia of those outcomes which informs lots of the Luddite persuasion and people who might have us halt technological progression to permit human psychological and social progression to get closer our prowess with craftsmanship and actual innovation. Then there are people who worry blindly, people who take emotional cues from non secular texts and use them to justify tries to halt progression for no different reason than it provides a obscure danger that's not completely understood. on an analogous time as Utopia is a lot from performed in at present's society, this is not homogeneous, nor could desire to this is. There could desire to continuously be a cautionary voice to offset the prepared futurists. besides the undeniable fact that, whilst the voice of unreasonable worry takes carry and helpful aspects a majority say, it extremely is whilst issues substitute into shaky and frightening. a complicated situation, yet not one that is unpredicted in any advance society with many layers. thank you for the question; sorry i'm not an atheist, yet I pop in on those each and all of the time, as few questions are geared in the direction of agnostics.

I don't believe in gods. I do believe in a higher power: "The Sun" at least in the daytime. At night it is a lower power.
Seriously I believe in mathematical laws, not superstitions like gods.

Both.
Atheism holds no direct philosophy so all philosophical values must be derived from external philosophical sources. The only real difference is that Atheists do not have the luxury of the automatic justification (not to be confused with validation) that "my god wants me to" or "god did it".

No. I don't believe in deities - I view them as metaphors, mere symbols for something much greater and more abstract. But I DO believe in a spiritual life force.
I don't participate in organized religion, but I refer to myself as a Neo-pagan Taoist.

As an atheist I'm Buddhist... I don't believe in an omnipotent creator being of any kind. Does this answer? Atheism is the lack of belief in an omnipotent creator being.

What's the difference? I have no superstitions... but are you asking do I believe that there is anything greater order than the one we create?
The answer is obviously yes... but that doesn't mean that I or anyone else knows anything about it.

Both. There is just natural mathematical principles, nothing more, nothing less. The concept of higher/lower is irrelevant.
