I believe you're talking about the Brain Tree on Neopets. (Yes...?)
If so, in order to get the answer, you MUST complete two Esophagor's quests. One quest will give you the date and the other quest will give you the location. (or vice versa) When you have all of the information, go back to the Brain Tree and submit your answers. Remember to be exact.
If someone simply tells you an answer, it will be wrong. The game is designed so that you have to complete the Esophagor's quests.

Yeah you have to finish the esophagors quest to get it right. I use to keep track of the dates and places and even if I go the same name it would be a different date or place. Also I have had no luck even when I complete the two quests and have the right answers it still says that its not right so I gave up. The snow faeries quests are much easier and she gives you good prizes when you get her stuff. (on terror mountain if you dont know where she is) Good luck
