i need to find out what these mean but i am not good at that sort of thing. it is part of my homework and i just need help and ideas because i can never find a meaning behined words other than what they litteraly say.

i need meanings and some things from history, society, or liturature that prove or disprove the quotes.

The first quotation means that freedom, justice and equality could not be "given" to a person, the person has to recognise these in his heart and "own" them.
e.g. The jailer can set a person free, but even when the person is free, he is still inside the prison, because he does not move on, but dwells in his prison cell just the same.

The second one means that laws are made by man, and they create these laws according to the need of the community in which they leave.
e.g. During the olden times, stealing was unheard of, so there were no laws created for it. Nowadays, there are various laws about theft because of a variety of theft done everyday.
It could also be interpreted as - law makers, are law breakers. We make our own law and be the first to break them.

things that you need or want you take it,,, do not wait for someone to give it to you

the more rules the more you will see crime and things that are not fair to all
