If you were granted 3 wishes by a genie what would they be and why? Also if you could bring any 3 religious or non religious people over to your house for dinner who would they be and why? Have fun with this one okay? Just go with the flow. Nobody is right or wrong so just have fun with questions. 10 points to the person who is the most creative and unique

Oh, heck. Where to start?

OK. Selfish one. I'd like all my friends and family and those that they know to live happy, healthy, long and prosperous lives. (If that's 4 wishes, just happy).

Next I'd like the deserts of the world to become fruitful enough to feed everyone.

And third, I'd like people to understand the connections they have with each-other and see others more as their brothers and sisters than they do now.

People? The late John Peel (DJ) , great musical taste and a cool raconteur. Boris Johnson MP , although I don't necessarily agree with him he seems honest and interesting. And my Mum, so I can fill her in on all the things I've been up to since she died.

Cool Q Seal. Will you tell us your choices when you pick an answer? Please?

LOL...

Ok, it's been a while and things have been kind of cranky, so I'll go along with this one...

For the wishes, then I don't believe that genies can grant ANY wishes at all, and that only God can't grant me what I ask for, so I'll pass on this one.

For the three whom I'd invite...

1. I'd invite a christian, so that we can have a nice CALM descussion about the similarities and differences between our beliefs.

2. A Jew, also for the same reason.

3. An agnostic, I'd like to understand where they really stand when it comes to God.

Of course they will all be mature enough to have a calm conversation without bashing or trashing each other.

Peace.

Okay, firstly I'm not going to wish for world peace - how boring would life be? Instead I'm going to wish for people to be able to sort out their differences through rational discussion instead of all the killing and the shouting and all the general smacking about.

Secondly I'm going to wish for the world's people to have a better understanding of mental illness. Again, I'm not going to wish for a cure or cures, as some really good stuff has come from mad people, but I really can't reconcile clinical depression and severe psychosis as necessary to human development.

Thirdly I'm going to wish for an abolition of money and a move instead to a system whereby skills, talents, abilities and preparedness to do the yucky jobs are all appropriately valued and rewarded.

As to dinner - which I reserve the right to extend into an indefinite feast - the guest list would include my husband for a start; I'm not going to leave him out of the fun. Then I think I'd go with my 2nd ggmother Elizabeth who died in 1905 - I'd like to know what led her to the conclusion that her only option was to fling herself into the Clyde. And lastly, to cheer things up a bit (?!) I'd invite Galileo - I'm sure we'd find something to talk about...

Thanks for the question, an interesting thing to ponder in my sleepy pre-bed state.

My first wish would be to obtain the power of teleportation (which would include other people who I wish to teleport with me). This would be a great money-saver, as I would no longer need a vehicle, so I could sell my Kia Rio for like $500 and never have to worry about gas again (well, not gasoline that is...see wish two)

Second, I'd wish for an everlasting perfectly functioning body. This would take care of the non-gasoline gas problems as a bonus. But to have a perfect body, I would not have to worry about what I ate, so if I wanted to I could eat nothing but cupcakes and I'd never get fat, diabetes, crazy blood sugar highs and lows, etc.

My third wish would be for a more exotic lo...well, let's just say number three is private on these boards.

As for inviting people over for dinner with me and my wife, I'd invite Willie Aames (shoot, I think I spelled it wrong) formerly from Charles in Charge. Man that guy was a riot! That episode where he wanted to become a monk because it's normal for people to sniff the flowers, but it's not normal for a hummingbird to fly down and almost pierce your brain. Priceless!

The second person I'd invite would be Ben Roethlisberger, of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yeah, I'm a fan, but my wife is from Pitt, so she's REALLY a fan!

The third person I would invite...well, let's just say she'd be in wish number three, and we'll leave it at that! ;)

Three wishes: World peace this is how to do it.
1. would be that all false religion would be destroyed.
2. That all unrighteous governments would be destroyed.
3/ That the earth would be a paradise. Where there was plenty of food for everyone and no one was sick, everyone had a nice house. A good job and friends to be with.
Is that more than 3 wishes?
When Noah is resurrected I want him to come over and tell me what it was like before the flood and I will tell him what it was like before the great tribulation that ended in Armageddon.
Then Abraham who talked to the angels. I would like to ask him what the earth was like when he was on it the first time.
King David, I want to ask him why he needed 900 wives?

My first wish would be for the West Memphis Three to be found innocent and freed. My second wish would be to end the problem with global warming. My third wish would honestly be for a great singing voice. :)

Three people I would love to have over for dinner would be an Atheist, a Taoist and a Christian. I would videotape the entire discussion and put in on Youtube.
