The old testament commands men not to cut their hair or the corners of there beards, a tradition kept by the Hassidic jews to this day. But the new testament says this, 1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
So what do you do to avoid going to Hell forever and ever? Grow it or cut it?

The bible has so many conflicting rules that you can pick and choose whichever ones really fit your chosen lifestyle. If you attend enough different churches, you will see that this goes on amongst all bible-believers, though we like to deny when we are confronted with it. If you don't want to cut your hair, leave it long. If you go to hell, you will be in the company of many other loving christians who did not make the right choice when deciding between two conflicting guidelines. We can all sing hymns together.

Not at all for those who know what the Bible says and why it says it in the Hebrew Scriptures (O.T.) according to the Mosaic law and also if they took a vow of Nazeriteship they were not to shave or drink intoxicating wines for the length of that vow in the Christian Greek Scriptures people who are under the New Covenant with Jesus were not to have long Hair or dress and look like a Woman as the Scripture you cited mentions since we today are not Jewish or under the Law of Moses we should follow Jesus directions is that simple and plain enough Gorbalizer

If you are talking about the O.T. These men were consecrated to God, and by their appearance you knew that they were. There are people that have long hair just to have it. God said that a man is to look like a man and a woman to look like a woman. When you have Jesus in your heart then you will do what is right. No one can condemn you except the Lord. The Holy Spirit will convict you if you are doing something wrong. Let Him lead you. The Bible was written as a love letter to all God's children. He was showing you what happens when people don't obey, but also what happens when you do obey. He was trying to teach us how to live. You have to make up your mind. No one can do it for you. God bless you as you search for the truth.

"Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard." Leviticus 19:26

It doesn't say a man can't cut his hair, just not "round the corners". One of the things God strongly warned the Israelites against was marrying outside of their culture and worshiping other culture's gods. I would imagine this is referring to not making themselves look like the people outside of their culture. Perhaps those around them had goatees & odd hair cuts - - not too much unlike today? I've heard the 1st part refered to the monk type hair cuts with the circle cut in the hair, but is that the corner? The goatee part sounds right though, doesn't it?

More correctly the OT commands men not round the corners of their heads or beards. Trimming them is fine....so long as one uses an instrument that is not considered a razor.

You are getting caught up in legalities / religion.

Follow the two greatest commandments and don't sweat the small stuff.

1) Love the Lord your God with all your soul, mind and strength.

2) Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

I find a LOT of the rules in the Bible confusing.

Thank goodness I go to a church where the minister has a new style or color almost every week!!

i don't think God judges you by your haircut! Some of the stuff in the Bible is silly like that. Like the one where you can't be around a female when she is mentruating. I think as long as you don't kill, steal a lot, commit adultery, or worship Satan you are fine.

I'm consider myself Christian, BUT sometimes i doubt there is a hell because why would God allow such a place? I heard somewhere that you don't go to hell, you just reincarnate back to Earth (its hell don't u agree). Just a thought.......

Gosh what loser gave me a thumbs down?
